This is a fantastic product for the beginner to advanced gardener. Clean healthy organic veggies and herbs. Durable worthwhile educational product.
I'm a vegetarian that prefers to eat as clean as possible, but I don't like buying "organic" fruits/vegetables in the store as they don't look very good.I do love many varieties of fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs to use in cooking, so I can keep my foods flavorful yet salt free as I never use salt. I'm looking forward to using the herb kit to grow fresh herbs in my kitchen to use in my cooking. I honestly think this is one of the best tools any kitchen should have to be able to grow fresh tomatoes and lettuce, and herbs as I live in the Northeast US and by September, these items are out of season, and in the grocery stores, they look terrible as they have to be shipped in. It's also great to start spring gardens and get a head start on your outdoor garden.

I started with herbs and got nearly 7 months of wonderful selections of herbs. Next came the salad greens and that went on for nearly 4 months and they were so tasty and tender. It's now December 25th in Montana and I'm planting my cherry tomatoes today! Can't wait to do the taste test with what I normally plant in my June 1st garden.

I have been wanting to start my outside gardening again, but hesitated because of all the manual labor. I bought the Aerogarden and was estatic. It is great. I rather use this than tilling dirt.
I pinch the growing herbs and eat it right off the setup, stems and all. It so delicious and tender. I cannot wait to purchase more Aerogardens.
However, my mint, which was on the end was a slow grower until I rearranged it with my italian basil to help it grow faster. When it got taller I rearranged it back. I do not know why it did not grow because all of the other herbs were growning beautifully.

waiting for the herbs to get where I can harvest them, I has only been 2 1/2 weeks.
We love the fresh tomatoes. The only problem is the kids eat them before I can get to them! I have the classic version, which I like for the quantity that can be grown. However, I would choose a smaller one as I have limited counter space.

I use both of mine for herbs and veggies. If you are looking for a smart low maint. garden right there in your kitchen, This is for you!! I have 2 years of Horticulture schooling and this is for those with dark black thumbs anyone can grow with this. Great product for the whole family!

As soon as I got this, the first thing I started to grow was the salad greens kit that came with it. I was shocked to find them immediately sprouting in about 3 days! I didn't have a very green thumb before I got the aerogarden... now I can grow anything!!! So far I have grown the salad greens, and a variety of flowers when I don't feel like planting veggies. It's really great, and all of my friends are so enthused when they see it in my apt.
The only bad thing about this I can think of is the calcium buildup/deposits from the water. It didn't happen with the greens, but when I grew my own flowers (using the master gardening kit) there was a lot of buildup around the unused holes. I think it's because I should have covered the unused holes. It caused annoying cleanup just about every day, but I think the next time I grow something I will buy those covers for it.

It doesn't get any better than this! It tells you what to do and when to do it by the use of lights.
The only things you need to do are (1) watch the lights and add water/neutrients. (2) watch growth and harvest often. Some herbs grow almost while you watch! Particularly, Basils.
It fits with any decor and makes you smile!

I have two gardens now, I love them, they are easy to use and produce plenty of herbs. I have the cherry tomatoe kit I am still waiting for it to flower (to early for flowers yet) but they are growing like crazy. I would recomend this product for everyone, there is so many uses for it, and it is also a nice conversation starter when there is company over.

We've tried lots of ways to garden on the balcony of our Miami condo and always would up with soil flying, plants burning in the sun, or our dog, Tinky, mistaking the garden for her garden--if you know what I mean. Hours of labor and many dollars used to blow away in the wind. Problem solved. Aero Garden thrives on our counter--herbs galore-the invention works and the dog can't reach it. Food tastes great and looks wonderful with a fresh herb or two on top for presentation. We've turned our former herb garden into a mini park for the pet and we all live happily forever!!!

Great product. I was skeptical at first, but it really does produce great herbs....and quickly! It is so easy to use. I have the opposite of a green thumb. But, even I was able to make it grow. I use fresh herbs in my cooking all the time. It is so convenient to have them right in my kitchen to snip and throw in my recipes. And, I know the herbs are fresh. I would recommend this to anyone.

The Aero Garden allows you to grow perfect herbs, vegetables and flowers inside with minimal effort. In addition, you can use it to start your favorite seedlings for transplanting into your garden. It makes a wonderful gift - especially for the person that has everything but might not have the time or ability to garden outside anymore. Everyone that has ever seen my garden, wants one for themselves!

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter who loves growing things outside in the summer and cooking with herbs. She was sad when the last of her basil was gone for the winter so I sent her an AeroGarden as a gift. She absolutely LOVES it! She said it was easy to set up and things started growing quickly. I'm thinking about getting one for myself.

I ordered 3 kits for my homeschooled son's biology study. We were so excited when they came, we planted them right away. My son loved checking on them several times a day to see how fast they grew. He is funny because he gives them a pep talk every day, telling them how pretty they are, how fast they are growing, and how much he appreciates them.
The salad kit sprouted in a couple of days, but died a few days later. I called customer service and got a new kit quickly. She suggested using distilled water instead of tap water. That worked great. Makes you wonder what's in the tap water. We had fresh salads every other day for months. My other son picked leaves off as he watched TV. Beats snacking on potato chips!
Some of the herbs did not sprout in our first kit, so he was disappointed by that. The second is doing great, however.
I love my arugula kit. I can't keep my hands off. Every time I go past, I snip a few leaves to chew on. They needed distilled water, too at first. Once they were established, the tap water works just fine.
When my daughter was here for the holidays, she and her hubby fell in love with the system. They took one home with them. Now, I am hoping Santa will bring me another one - maybe the Pro 200? My homeschooler wants to grow tomatoes and peas.

I love to garden but moved to central Texas some years back. I can't get anything to grow in the heat and intense sun. I bought my first Aerogarden (classic) and it solved my heat issues. Now I have fresh herbs and salad veggies year round. I loved it soooo much that I bought 2 more and recommended them to all my friends! Next on my wishlist is the 200Pro!

This is my second Aerogarden. I use both of them and Im actually thinking of buying a couple more. I have bought two others as gifts in the past. It is one of the few items you see advertised on T.V. or magazines that actually lives up to their companies claims. I have looked into other aeroponics systems. They are two involved, the aerogarden is simply and easy to use.

I grow my own dill and other spices with this wonderful creation. It is easy to use and my dill grows very fast. I have nothing negative to say as I use all my spices I grow in all of my recipes for everything is fresh.
If you are living with a disability and it is difficult to get outside and do the hard work that gardening requires, this product is a joy to have. Because you don't have to bend, it makes it attractive for those of us with arthritic joints. I've always loved fresh plants but never got very good results; you could say I have a "brown thumb", but it is so easy to do "foolproof" gardening with the AeroGardens. I looked into other hydroponics, but AeroGrow makes the most attractive products and maybe the easiest to manage too. I really am pleased.

I bought whole package of 3 Gardens with the wall mounting unit. Enjoying all 3 every day. Herbs smells fantastic and worth all the money in the world! We gets spoiled with fresh salad, herbs and tomatoes every day and my wife can't eat tomatoes from the store since. Highly recommend to everyone!

I live in the mountains and have a very short growing season. I love being able to have fresh herbs all year long. It is so easy to use and looks good in my kitchen. My husband and I are building a new house in a few years and I will place a space for several aerogardens into the kitchen plans.
It's so rare to find a specialty product that does exactly what it's supposed to -- but the AeroGarden does! The equipment is practically bulletproof, the operation is streamlined, and the plants come up perfectly.
I've had the Gourmet Herb kit growing since April -- about 8 months. The basils, parsley, and mint have especially thrived (with Extended Season Nutrients). I've even been hinting around for a second AeroGarden for the holidays!

We have very very short growing seasons here. I am loving the fact that I have fresh lettuce for my lunch sandwiches every day. The real treat for me will be trying the seed starting kit. I have wanted to grow watermelons for a few years now but our growing season is too short and melons turn out stunted and frequently never ripen. The other problem with a short season is that just when plants are starting to look their best, it snows and they die. I want to get my garden started early this coming spring and have them well on their way before planting outside. I just ordered the romaine kit and excited to have this growing during the winter!! I was amazed at how fast my salad greens kit grew. They were all germinating in 48 hours and all 7 pods are producing a plenty! I'm looking forward to the romaine doing the same.

I saw this advertised last Christmas and said to my husband, "THAT's what I want for Christmas, and here's a coupon." It was the best present I've ever gotten. We live in New England, where winters are long and dark. I had light and green and fresh herbs, right here in my kitchen the whole winter long! In the spring, we replaced the herbs with cascading petunias that filled the kitchen with color. Tonight, we replanted it with herbs again, and I thanked my husband again for the gift. No one comes into our house without remarking on the AeroGarden. I'm like a kid, taking sheer pleasure in the wonder of gardening--in my kitchen, even when the whole world is frozen outside!

I have this in my living room on the sofa table. It sits in the middle and I have my potted violets around it. My violets bloom like crazy under the Pro lights. I am growing flowers in mine right now, but have tried herbs, tomatoes and lettuce with success.

It is snowing outside and I have fresh herbs germinating in my kitchen! I love the aerogarden. The herbs germinated at different times, but within the interval on the label. I just wish I could buy individual pods, rather than a kit, or a modifiable kit. I don't use chives much (they come with the kit). I would like a kit with cilantro and rosemary, but it is not available. The chosen combination has a lot of visual appeal, even if it does not match my cooking demands 100%.

I like to use the basil on pizzas. I always have plenty of basil and can share with friends. I love herbs and love the fact that I can grow them in my kitchen without a sunny window. It can get a little messy if you don't keep your herbs harvested and let them dry out and the dead leaves fall.

I love it! The best kit to grow in it is the herb kit, grows fast and has a variety of things that can be used every day.
I love the light cycling feature.
The kids love to watch it grow, and help with pruning, adding water, or "feeding" the plants. So easy to use, my toddlers could maintain it on their own!

I loved the herb kits, you can even dry the herbs if they grow faster than you use them. The salad kits are great to you can have a salad anytime, or use it on a sandwhich or a wrap.

I purchased 3 classic aerogardens as part of the 3 garden wall farm about 9 months ago. This allowed me to get the 3 shelf wall garden for free. I could not be more happy. Having the 3 gardens allows me to grow herbs, lettuce, and veggies all at the same time. The unit is a wonderful conversation piece. Everyone who comes to our house comments on it. We are eating so much healthier now. I strongly recommend not just buying one aerogarden, but the full wall garden. Trust me, if you buy only one, you are quickly going to be wishing you had another. It's a great bargain when you buy the 3 together and the shelf allows you to keep your kitchen counter space. I have always wanted an outdoor garden, but just have not had the time for much more than a few herbs. These gardens are so easy to take care of. I have no problems keeping up with them. I already can't imagine being without them. Customer service is wonderful as well. They really stand behind their product. I just can't say enough good things about the whole system. I definitely strongly recommend this product.

I AM USING THE PRODUCT TO DO THINGS IN WINTER I CANT DO IN SUMMER - SPECIAL - PEPPERS WICH ARE VERY LIGHT AND HEAT SENSITIVE. WITH THIS HYDROPONIC GARDEN ? NO PROMLEM . TIL SPRING I WOULD HARVESTED MORE THAN FROM THERE ON .

Fresh organic herbs? It doesn't get any better than this! All in my kitchen and right at my fingertips. I'm nearing the end of my second Gourmet Herb Kit and asking for another AeroGarden for Christmas. I want salad greens and tomatoes and flowers, oh my! Too bad Christmas only comes once a year!

Always loved to garden and eat fresh vegetables. In the military it has been very difficult to tend any real garden. Aerogarden has changed that. Easy to tend and good harvest of peppers and tomatoes. Just ordered the Deluxe Upgrade - I'll let you know how it goes in a few months.

I received my first AeroGarden a few weeks ago. I had seedlings in less than 48 hours, and now have a thriving brood of herbs! It's fun to watch these plants grow before our eyes; it's amazing how fast it's happening, and the plants are far healthier than their outside and potted counterparts! I can't wait to try other Aerogarden models and seed kits and plan on devoting an entire room to AG. I couldn't have had a more positive experience so far. A truly, fun, high-quality product! (Guess what everyone is getting for Christmas this year?) I'm elated with this Aerogarden!

I love this product. It may not be cost-efficient (I can buy a lot of herbs for what it costs) but I have pesticide-free, clean produce at my fingertips when cooking. It doesn't get any fresher than that! Fresh herbs make such a difference in cooking. Now everyone thinks I'm a gourmet chef!

I wanted the Aerogarden because it is difficult to grow plants where I live. I didn't realize I would learn so much about the proper treatment of each plant with the informative booklets included with each seed kit. I am amazed at the growth and the beauty of the plants. They seem almost unreal. I have had some problems, but they only showed me what great customer service Aerogardens have. I bought three Aerogardens and only one has had problems so far. The people at customer service have fixed everything. I highly recommend buying one, two or more.
To have fresh herbs and veggies especially off season is a very welcome treat.

I love my aerogarden! My mother gave me one as a gift and has been my favorite gift ever. It is fun deciding what to grow next and I actually plan meals around what is fresh on the aerogarden. My husband likes helping harvest herbs- it is usually impossible to get him to help out in the kitchen. Next I am going to try the tomatoes...

I own three of these, lettuce in one, herbs in the 2nd and tomatoes and peppers in the 3rd. Everytime that I would attempt to grow herbs on my patio they always died, with this nothing has ever died and I have a constant supply of salad ingredients - love it, love it, love it.

This is my second aerogarden and I absolutely love it. Setting it up was a breeze. The herbs are fantastic, and the tomatoes wonderful.The directions on pruning plants and caring (general maintenance) for the aerogarden couldn't be easier. And, they make a great night-light for the
kitchen.
I have two aerogardens, and love both. I started them inside and then transplanted them outside. I recently bought a wall mount unit because I have limited space, will soon purchase another wall unit. Also just bought the 70 garden starter tray and cant wait to start more plants. A great way to start your own green house plants! Especially if you dont have a green thumb, this is a guaranteed way to grow plants.

Sent a second basil instead of cilantro and the thyme didn't grow very well. It was choked out by the faster growing basil and parsely. However, those 6 other herbs grew great and it was nice cooking with fresh seasoning. I can't wait to start up some petunias for my office as the winter months approach.

Very easy to use. I only wish that when you first order it, the free set of pods were ones that you could choose (instead of the default herbs of which I only tended to use 3 out of the 7). I liked the fact that you specify which types of plants you are trying to grow to personalize water and lighting needs but that does limit you on the ability to mix things like salad greens with herbs in your garden. I ended up having to buy an Aero3 to grow my herbs and took out the herbs from my Aero7 to replace it with salad greens. Although I have a big countertop, I did find that it took up quite a bit of space so for those with smaller counters (or pets that jump on counters to get to your plants), I would recommend a stand.

Even in the eternal warmth of Florida, there are seasons when herbs do not thrive. My Aerogarden produces wonderful bug-free herbs and now tomatoes which became hard to find in the quality we like. My daughter moved to a climate which has winter many months of the year and we sent one to her. Well, my sister got me one of these things because I was renting and didn't have a place to plant my own garden. I missed a lot about gardening--especially being able to watch the plants come up, and the pleasure of growing my own food. (Food just tastes better when you grow it yourself!)
Now that I've moved into a house of my own and I have the space to garden outdoors, I'm surprised to find that I strongly prefer the Aerogarden to mucking about in the dirt... No weeds, no bugs, no messy fertilizer, but still I get the fresh herbs I love cooking with!

I live in SE Ohio where the winters are cold and the summers are HOT. I bought my first garden in November (started the herbs) and within two weeks bought another for salad greens. I'm an avid gardener but it gets too hot too quickly to grow lettuce here. I LOVE that I can have fresh greens year round, that all parts are replaceable, expandable. Next crop is eggplant (another crop that has NEVER done well for me). If there were a 3x buyer discount, I'd be getting #3!
Makes for a great hobby as well as a great gift idea.
These grow so quickly and so abundantly that I give clippings as gifts and get rave reviews!!Only the tomato plants are more complicated, If you don't read the instructions and don't manually pollinate the plants correctly they die off. Herbs are the best, you save more, and they grow like weeds!! (but good ones you can eat!)

This is the second AeroGarden that I've bought. After hearing about mine so much, my dad wanted one of his own. The tomatoes are beginning to grow taller and he absolutely loves it! I have my second batch of green beans growing right now. I can't wait until winter when I can be the only one in the office growing fresh fruits and veggies!
